About Me

• I am currently an Associate Professor with the Professional Master Program in Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, College of Medicine, Taipei Medical University (TMU), Taiwan. I am also a joint Associate Professor with the International Master/PhD Program in Medicine (IGPM-TMU), International Ph.D. Program for Cell Therapy and Regeneration Medicine (IPCTRM-TMU) and TMU Research Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine.
• Prior to joining TMU, I was a Research Fellow at the Medical Humanities Research Cluster, School of Humanities, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. I received my MS and PhD degree in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Graduate Program in Biomedical Informatics, Yuan Ze University (YZU), Taiwan.

• February 02, 2024. Our paper Multi-Class Deep Learning Model for Detecting Pediatric Distal Forearm Fractures Based on the AO/OTA Classification has been published in Journal of Imaging Informatics in Medicine.
• January 05, 2024. Congratulations to Dr. Dang Huy Hoang on passing his dissertation defense at TMU and becoming a PhD holder.
• December 20, 2023. Our paper Predicting emerging drug interactions using GNNs has been published in Nature Computational Science.
• November 03, 2023. Our paper VF-Pred: Predicting virulence factor using sequence alignment percentage and ensemble learning models has been published in Computers in Biology and Medicine.
• August 31, 2023. Our paper Sequence-based prediction model of protein crystallization propensity using machine learning and two-level feature selection has been published in Briefings in Bioinformatics.
• July 11, 2023. Congratulations to Dr. Le Viet Huan on passing his dissertation defense at TMU and becoming a PhD holder.
• July 11, 2023. Our paper A transfer learning approach on MRI-based radiomics signature for overall survival prediction of low-grade and high-grade gliomas has been published in Medical & Biological Engineering & Computing.
